It helps you to generate a report analytically based on date of month when sale orders are invoiced or shipped mainly for decision making purposes and track the status of invoicing and shipping for sale orders.

Go to Sales -> Quotations
On sale order confirmation, delivery order will be generated
'Scheduled Date' of delivery order will be passed on related sale order
On click 'Post' button, invoice will move from 'Draft' state to 'Posted' state
'Invoice Date' from invoice will pass to related sale order
On click 'Cancel' button, 'Scheduled Date' and 'Invoice Date' will remove from sale order
Go to Reporting -> Sales
Easy to apply search filters for "Invoice Date' and "Shipment Date' to compute separate total amount from date of shipment or date of invoice in the sales analysis
